Emperor 280- Should I Remove Biowheel?

Howdy,
I've got a 46 gallon tank which atm only has fish, inverts and live rock & sand. I was told by someone that I should remove the biowheel in my Emperor 280, calling them "Nitrate factories." My Nitrates are testing fine though.
Any tips are appreciated!

i had a emp. 400 my corals did not grow for the first two years my tank has been running. about a month ago i took my biowheels, 1 one week and 1 the next, off and about two weeks ago my corals have increased in size about 25%. so my vote would be to take them off

I would take your bio-wheels off. You have enough LR to convert Ammonia and Nitrite. Bio-wheels can become nitrate factories, get rid of them.
