I was wondering that myself as far as taking the bio wheels out. Isn't that where the good bacteria live and that keeps your water clean? I was told never to take them out. I have a 400 and it works just fine. HAPPY ... Where did you see or read or hear that the bio wheels are nitrate builders? Others have said the same to take them out but I was told never to do that. Looking for FACTS on this issue please. Anyone?
