Empty 90 Gallon Needing Life

Hi , I recently upgraded to a 150 gallon , Still have 90 gallon with all equiptment . Could I do a coral only tank no fish , no inverts ,just coral & live rock, any thing special I need to know ? Thanks John

as long as you have the equipment you can do w/e you want, i saw a thread where someone did only sps coral with no live rock at all and it looks awesome.

I could be wrong, but I think you need SOME kind of life in there even if it is only a few small fish. I would guess that they provide certain nutrients and a small CUC will keep the sand bed clean. Corals usually still need to be fed, and also expel waste, hence the CUC.
Other will have to confirm or deny.
