Last time I ordered, you have to order 75 dollars worth of stuff. (which, as irritating as it can be, does make sense, they pay for the shipping, unlike most places with 25 dollar box charges, etc)
You could order 75 dollars worth of crab shells! You'd have the happiest hermits in town. :D I've gotten the shells twice, but now I have to buy the dead turbo snails' shells from my LFS (He's cheap, and he rarely ever charges me anyways. I don't think it ever occurred to him to sell them...even though they have small to large hermit crab shells for 1.50. He sells me 20 for a dollar :D He's nice.)

Does anyone know if the shells from this site would be appropriate for dwarf zebras, they are in shells about 1/4 inch long right now, so anything bigger that 1/2 inch wouldn't help. Thanks

Both times when I got them, most of them were smaller shells, with a few larger ones and some medium ones. My hermits are too large for them (well most of them, my LFS is always giving me little tiny hitch hiking hermits when I buy corals. Not that I mind :D )

well i just tried to order them and see if it would let me do it. and it did. but the only bad thing was that shipping was 4.95 so for 100 shells it costs 14.94. but when you can not get them around here with out driving 1 1/2 hrs i think that i would rather spend the money. of course i did not tell my wife about them. i cant believe she let me bring the credit card to work so i think that i my see what else i might need that they have. lol

when you do get them, make sure you boil them for 10 mins or so (and boy does it smell good lol... gag) to cleam them, then rinse with clean water.....

thanks for the advise. i did not know that you had to boil them for that long. i think i would had just cleaned and rinsed them real well. but cause you gave me that sound advise i will now boil them. plus i thank that they will love these shells. i have 1 blue leg crap that tool a bumble bee shell and all he does between 5 and 7 is rase from the right side of the tank to the left side. it is so funny you could set your clock by him. i think every day he gets faster. i set there and watched him one day and almost gets out of the shell to race. enough about my babies. i am sure you all dont want to hear it. but thanks for the advise slothy.
