Your new growth is the edges - where it's white/pale.....this area should continue to expand, and move outwards, while the previous "pale" areas fill in with color and new eyes....Just like mine does - we have the same species. The middle or (established) area may TRY to grow, but it cannot grow horizontally, so it may tend to create bumps or ridges by growing vertically, which is the only direction the center CAN grow - as new growth happens only at the edges. So far it looks just fine, and continued growth from the center will evolve into a new vertical ridge being developed, if conditions warrant. The new ridge could be a problem longterm, as if it begins to grow "UP" instead of "OUT" the new vertical ridge will grow bigger and shade light on the horizontal portion, which will die off, and the coral will take on a more vertical growth plane.
