Move your live rock and any inverts over to the new QT and leave the fish in the display for hyposalinity treatment. Use a refractometer for treatment. Follow the hyposalinity guideline posted in the FAQ Topic, top of this forum, exactly.
In the future, QT ALL new fish.

thats a great idea just finished moving out all live rock so will the hypo kill my fillter bed and how long should live rock be left in qt thanks

No, the biofilter will be fine. Treat fish for 3 weeks. You have a refractometer?
Put some fake rocks, etc. in the now empty display for the fish.
