Why dont you want it? I think they are pretty cool. I had three but traded one for some Xenia and now have two. They are about 10", maybe longer. How long is yours, is it an adult yet?

Yea, Im pretty sure It's an adult because the stripes are vertical now, Id say like 6 or 7 inches. Every time I wake up or get home from work he has moved around all the sand and last night i got home and it had moved all the sand towards the intake for the filter and almost clogged it. I swear they are planning something like they planned in the Nemo.

Thats why they are called Engineer Gobies, they are constantly building. Mine are always moving the sand around. They are fun to watch though. You should give it a second thought before getting rid of it. You could always shorten the intake tube for the filter so that it doesnt reach the sand bed.

They were the main reason why I placed my rock in first and then the sand. I lost 1 of mine a couple of months ago. He ate something and got it caught in his throat so basically starved to death.

Yea, I am going to make my intake shorter, someone on a different thread recomended it and he didn't even know about the gobie clogging it. Im going to add some live rock soon so maybe that'll give him some more places to hide.
