ok now that i have seen one on a picture posted on this web site i want one.... engineer gobie.... i have a reef what are the pros and cons...any help would be great...larrynews

Pros: Great personality, entertaining to watch.
Cons: Will destroy your aquascaping by burrowing.

A few more cons: they stir up sand bed thus possibly increasing nitrate levels. They are also known to hide and you might not see it much. I have one and luckily he will come out for food, many other people never see theirs though. And from what I've heard they will get big(12"+ easy). I consider mine a substitute for an eel. Overall , I like mine however and am glad I purchased him.
