Enough lights for a 55 gallon?

300 watts HQI metal halides, if my levels are near perfect, and I got the money lol, I can keep almost any coral that crosses my eyes right?

two 150's?
That puts you at like 4.5 watts per gallon before displacement.
I think that would be good enough to keep pretty much anything.
Wait for someone to chime in about SPS though, SPS is not my territory.

Thanks! Yes they are 2 150 watts, That will cover BOTH sides of my aquarium and not 1 (Which is why I'm selling my halides)

Are they just the MH or are there actintics too? They should do for most SPS but just curious.

The new ones are 48" long ones with 2 150 watt bulbs 14,000k and 6 white moonlights and 6 blue moonlights,
The one I'm selling is just one double ended HQI metal halide!
 
your talking about the sunpod aren't you! i'm currently trying to set up my 55 gallon and thats what i plan on using 300 watts 2 mhs. I was just wondering the same thing can you hold about anything?
