Equipment From Agua Trader

Does anyone have any info from the equipment from Aqua Trader, They have and Odysee Power Compact 4-65watt with 1200k and lunar lights for $99. Has anyone bought one of these, and have you had any problems with them?

let me rephrase, I have heard of odysee and they are a very good co. but 12000k is a little off most reefs are around 14000 to 15000

yeah we all make that mistake in our first few post. post more about your tank how big is it reef and how long has it been setup?

Well I went with a Sandless bottom Its been running for about 5 months and I just added fish after the first of the year, I have 50 lbs of Life rock, that's been in the tank for about 2 months. The lights I currently use now are 2 24" marine lights. The Fish I have now are a Dottyback. Gold Clown Goby, Coral Banded Shrimp, and Cleaner snails and A Peppermint Shrimp. The Coraline is starting to take off, But I know the lighting is not enough.

what type of coral do you plan on?

Probably Soft Corals.

then that light will be good for you. another light brand to look at is coralife they have exalant service too

i have the odyssea 130wt pcs
the ballast blew out in less than a year.
i went with the coralife lunaraqualight.
these lights rock.
i heard a rumor that odyssea is now making the coralife stuff, dont know if its true or not.

that light will be great on that tank...the new odyssea's are alot nicer than the older versions and I have personally bought from that site 3 times and all orders were perfect. I would suggest looking up a guy named hommby on the site where u bid on stuff. he has those lights too with cheaper shipping, and is also good to deal with

How good of a light is the coralife aqualight deluxe double linear strip fixture?
