ETSS protein skimmer

Anyone using a Reef Devil skimmer from ETSS? How do you like it?

I like ETSS skimmers. That particular skimmer is only efficient on tanks up to about 55 gallons. Their skimmers work great with the appropriate pump...don't skimp on the pump...get the one that they recommend.

I am sure BigMac would rather see you get a Euro-Reef. I am starting to lean that way too. The bubbles produced by a Euro Reef skimmer are smaller and there are way more of them than in the ETSS. The ES 5-2 is the smallest one they make and it will handle as big of a tank as the Reef Devil...it is around $180-$200.

Thanks for the info. The skimmer I have now is over 15 years old and came from a 75 gallon tank. I'm using it on a 125 gal. and it obviously isn't keeping up.
It's nice to have this forum to access. Good advice, no prejudice!
