ETSS Skimmer

I have a 100 gallon reef tank with an ETSS 800 double tower. The skimmer does not seem to be very effective as most of the gunk collects at the sides and nutrients in tank is high. In addition the skimmer introduces alot of micro bubbles in the system.
I also do 10% water changes weekly.
Any suggetestions as to how I can fix this poblem.

Hm, I don't have those same problems with my ETSS. Where do you have it, in sump, or external?

Sounds like the water level is not high enough. You need to spit out more foam

The skimmer is external. When I increase the water level it tend to overflow when I turn on the pump.

What type of pump are you using on it then?

I am using a Sequence barracuda to run both my tank return and skimmer.

My effective sump volume is about 40 gallons
