etss vs asm

i went to my lfs today and i was asking about protein skimmers and which one to buy they told me to get the asm over the etss what do u guys think i should do i kind of want to get the best skimmer on the market can someone help me out thanks

the smaller ETSS skimmers are not very good...For your size tank I'd go with the ASM G2 or even better G3

ya thats what my lfs told me so they were not just gerking me around now what is the diff between the two etss and the asm ?

no way...you can never over skim. I'm really starting to like you.

see the only problem that i have with my sump is, it is the model 1 oceanic sump because that is the only one that will fit under the tank because of the bowfront , i dont know if the g4 will fit ? :notsure:
