Ease of Use: It`s literally plug and play! Unpack it, put it in the sump and plug it in. On the hobby models (which are all but a few of the largest ones) there are no valves, no screws no nothing. A simple adjustable riser pipe makes "dialing up" a foam level a snap. Want wet foam because you just cleaned the algae off the glass? Raise the pipe up a bit.. Adding new water, food, live rock, resins etc., which often make a protein skimmer go nuts!!?? Just lower the pipe a bit.... THAT`S IT!! Efficiency: The Euro-Reef uses an Aspirating-Venturi to draw in air and "needle-wheeled" impellar to "chop" the bubbles fine, therefore, creating a skimmer body completely filled with a think cloud of fine bubbles. The end result is a thick frothy foam. The Euro-Reef CS skimmers all use Sedra pumps which is included with the skimmer. This skimmer is extremely quiet and energy efficient.
