euro reef skimmer?

i need some help, i saw my LFS has a used euroreef 180 for 150.00, but has no pump. what size pump would i need and is this a good deal? i have a berlin skimmer and i hate it !! thanks

I was planning on getting one of those but got an Octopus NW-150 instead....I believe I paid $150 with the pump brand new from Aquacave and I love it!

is the the -- or the rs model?
the pump that the rs skimmer uses is a gen-x 4100 which i've seen selling for 53.99.
the -- model uses a eheim 1262 which i've seen for around 139.99
i've seen a new rs 180 advertised for 448.00
the -- 180, i've seen listed at over a thousand dollars.
btw- you'll have to get the "euro-reef modified" pumps, which might be a few dollars more.

ok its a rs80... for some reason i thought it was a 180! would this work on my 90 gallon reef?

I have a Rs100 and love it.. I would just wait, I got my rs100 for 200 bucks straight from ER with pump. They are supposed to be selling more blems soon. Call them up and see mabye you can get a better deal=) All that was wrong with it was it had a scratch on the cup lol.

thats a TERRIBLE deal! they only use to go for $220 complete brand new and the sedra pump that it uses cost $100 ($120 from euroreef) so your looking at $350 for a used skimmer with new pump that cost $220 brand new.
