Right now the tank the skimmer is gonna go on is a 55. I'm bumping up the tank size for my display very soon and turning the 55 into a prop tank.
This might be a way you want to go here.
I talked to my guy at the LFS this morning and told him I was looking for the ES5-3 and the CS6-2+.
He told me the CS6-2+ was alot more expensive and that he had an ES series which would save me more money.
I questioned his pushing me towards the cheaper model.
He told me the only difference between the ES and CS series basically is the Acrylic used and the way they connect one of the parts. The ES series glues it on where the CS series welds it on.
I did a little more research on that and checked the Euroreef webset and that information is correct.
The ES6-2+ I believe is the model. It is rated for up to 125gallons but it comes with the bigger pump... I'm going with that model for the bigger pump. The ES6-2+ is the smallest size you can get with the 5000 pump over the 3500 with the smaller models.
He sells the ES5-3 for $250 and the CS6-2+ for $418. Somewhere in that price range this new model ES6-2+ falls so I am gonna assume it is around $330-$340.
I know you can find the ES5-3 online a little cheaper but this guy is 20 min away and I can have it today
