euroreef ES5-2 for a 75

I've been doing alot of research on the Euro-reef line of skimmers the last 3 days.
It should handle a 75 gallon reef no problem. Most places say it is rated for 90gal. Alot of people with 55-90 gallon tanks who have a Euro-reef seem to have this one.
I am going Friday when my LFS is open for the weekend and grab a Euro-reef skimmer.
This guy has the ES5-3 for $250 and the CS6-2+ for $420.
Seems to me for the extra $170 with the increased size on the skimmer and the more powerful pump your gonna pull out almost 2x the junk.
So going with Steve Weast's philosophy of you can never skim enough I'm leaning towards the CS6-2+

I just didn't have the money to fork over for the bigger models so I ordered an ES5-2 for my 58 gallon... still waiting for it... OMG why won't it get here! :)
I've read many a good thing about the EuroReef so I hope I won't be disappointed (especially since it took a lot to convince myself and the wife I needed it).
Cheers!

Right now the tank the skimmer is gonna go on is a 55. I'm bumping up the tank size for my display very soon and turning the 55 into a prop tank.
This might be a way you want to go here.
I talked to my guy at the LFS this morning and told him I was looking for the ES5-3 and the CS6-2+.
He told me the CS6-2+ was alot more expensive and that he had an ES series which would save me more money.
I questioned his pushing me towards the cheaper model.
He told me the only difference between the ES and CS series basically is the Acrylic used and the way they connect one of the parts. The ES series glues it on where the CS series welds it on.
I did a little more research on that and checked the Euroreef webset and that information is correct.
The ES6-2+ I believe is the model. It is rated for up to 125gallons but it comes with the bigger pump... I'm going with that model for the bigger pump. The ES6-2+ is the smallest size you can get with the 5000 pump over the 3500 with the smaller models.
He sells the ES5-3 for $250 and the CS6-2+ for $418. Somewhere in that price range this new model ES6-2+ falls so I am gonna assume it is around $330-$340.
I know you can find the ES5-3 online a little cheaper but this guy is 20 min away and I can have it today

That's the reason I've (AKA BigMac) been telling people for years to get the 6-2+ model...Now if you really really want to skim you'll get the 8-2 model

I run a es5-2 on my 75 and half full 20 sump, I only have 2 fish, one clown and one firefish, my nitrates are only at 3.5, IMO you'll be good to go

I just got back from my LFS.
First time I ever went to this guy, very awesome guy to deal with.
After doing some measuring there was no possible way that the ES6-2+ was gonna fit in my sump so I had to get the ES5.
I'm turning this 55 into a prop tank so I'm gonna let this ES5 carry over to this tank and I'll get the ES6 for my bigger tank.
What sucks even more is the ES6-2+ only cost $330 while this one was $250. Only $80 for so much skimming....
I picked up about 6 - 7 different zoo frags, couple other frags and my Lifeguard fluid bed.
Good day for me!:D :D
I'll have this Euro-reef up and running here soon.
Since I am upgrading from a Prizim Pro Deluxe Hang-on I am looking forward to seeing all the skimmate.
This store prices are the same as his online prices..... If you want this webaddress shoot me an email.

He has the ES5-3 and the ES6-2 both in stock.
