Evaluate My 55G Setup

I have an extra 55G tank that I am thinking of setting up into an aggresive tank. It will have no more than 4 specimens, and will have 55lbs of live rock and live sand.
Whisper 30-60 Power Filter - Sits outside the tank.
2x Power Heads
Sea Clear System II Protein Skimmer (I have an extra).
300W Heater
Would this work, or are there potential issues?

I doubt it, because if so i doubt he'd be running a whisper. i would at least do a canister on a 55. If now that, a sump

the wisper and the sea clone deff set you back a little I would tink about a ss65 and a sump

When you say sump, do you mean something like this:

no that is a skimmer a sump is a tank that sits under your display tank. it allows you to add extra equipment with out cluttering up you display tank
