It is the money/instant gratification driving some owners. They don't sell more seats by drafting Jonathan Ogdens...but by drafting Heisman winners!
The owners that want to win and have some patience are the ones that have good teams...DiBartalos when they owned the niners and Robert Kraft of the Patriots to name a couple.
