Ever been bitten by a Titan Trigger?

Most divers fear titans more than sharks. I've never been bitten by one, but i've heard they take one heck of a chunk. And yes it's probably painful, plus you are in saltwater so it stings too.

I haven't ever been biten by a titan, but I did get my hand swallowed at the LFS the other day... They have this 20 somethin inch amazon catfish or something that swallowed my entire hand when I put my finger in the tank... lol :D

When this catfish gets hungry, it keeps its head around the top of the water. I walked past the tank when its head was at the top, and its like I just automatically touched it... LOL As soon as my hand got close to his head... BAAAAMMM my hand was swallowed. It scared the livin $#@% out of me, and I quickly yanked my hand out of the water. So I would reccomend to you guys not to touch any fish that isnt scared of your hand coming to the tank lol.. you never know what could happen... :D

The LFS has a TINY titan. I'd say 2-3" long but it is mean as #$#$#. You can put your finger up to the glass and it goes crazy trying to bite it.
They put him in with an 8" angel and a 6" minitus grooper. The little guy was fighting with the angel!!! He slowly learned his lesson but it was not pretty for the first few days.

The Titan Trigger is extremely aggressive and has been known to attack divers. Take a look at the teeth and the size of the mouth on some of the larger specimens and take a guess if that bite would hurt or not. I have been in very close proximity(about 4 feet) of a Titan roughly 2 feet and he didn't attack me but just swam off.

No, I did not take the pic. I'm sure Ryebread could take a pic like that though. I found it online looking for a good pic of a Titan.

I have a bit of a phobia when it comes to swimming in the ocean already so your story gave me one more reason to be scared of the ocean now. I'm sure you've seen some amazing things down there!
