Ever have one of those days?

Would like to thank everyone that bought my extra pumps and lights. I got my car fixed and it was running great. I woke this morning, got ready for work, went out in the chilliy air, started down the road and a tranmisson line broke so I lost all the transmission fluid. Back into the shop. I give up. Doesn't pay to get up in the morning. lol, and with gas prices the way they are, I think the car is right where it belongs. Now if I can air up the tires on my 10 speed.
But anyway, I would like to appologize for the slow shipping to everyone that had delays. I will never use USPS again. What UPS ground does in 3 days USPS takes almost 2 weeks. Crazy.

Agreed. From my experience, UPS is the most dependable way to go by far with shipping. However, it is unfortunately also the most costly

I hate it when all the trans fluid comes out. I had a Buick station wagon, and on the highway I noticed a funny smell. I looked in the rear view mirror and there was this white cloud behind me. My torque converter blew out and there was trans fluid on the windshield of every car that was near me, LMAO, I wasn't laughing at the time.......good old Jersey.

In Florida is one of the few places that you can have a scooter all year around... I should move down there.

I made the poor mistake of being born there (what?).
I know a lot of you probably love Florida and have some awesome LFS' around your way, but I love my four seasons up here in the midwest.
Hot and Unbearable are the two (Florida) seasons I wouldn't mind living without for a very long time.

If I did not have to work I would love to live there for a few months out of the year... I could handle the heat as long as I can go fishing and diving...

lol. Yes, those are the 2 main seasons, then it gets ice cold the rest of the year like this morning. It must have been down around 45 degrees when I went out and I don't think it got above 75 today. I hate winter. Brrrrrr

FLricordia you call 45 cold. Man I wish thats as cold as it got up here in good old NY. It was about 25 today and olny got up to about 45. My car broke once on a very blustery 17 degree day in February. Also might I add it was my water pump and I fixed it myself. 17 degrees and wet hands do not mix very well. Sorry for your troubles and hopefully you car gets fixed and stays that way.

up at the NH house it gets so cold that your hands would stick to the metal on the car door handles, and it hurt to take a deep breath outside, your nose hairs freeze instantly.

I was just being an @$$. I have lived in OK where you get the wet from the south at the same time you get the arctics from the north and I have also lived in NH where you see the sun a total of about 30 days out of the year.
But down here in the south our blood thins and we become wimps.
My last winter in OK I remember one evening it was warm and drizzling and the next morning I was chipping a 1/4 inch layer of ice off the car.

I tell you what, my uncle's muffler fell off in NH, 2 feet of snow, and while I was lying on the ground under the car fixing it, the Concord police pulled up cause they thought I froze to death. I was under the car with a bic lighter warming my fingers so that I could get a grip on the socket wrench. My hands hurt so bad I wanted to cry, to make matters worse, it was a 1965 Caddy, and the heat didn't work, my Camaro motor blew and we had to use this car for 3 months. It took 2 days to get feeling back in my hands.
