I agree. The Zoo Med power sweep DO NOT WORK. I called ZooMed and complained. Zoo Med denies these claims. Buy one and I guarentee it will stop sweeping in a day or two.

I have one... It works great.. I Just clean it once a month and run the pre-filter and have not had any problems yet, except mounting it. Those suction cups suck!!

I have to powersweep 226 in 55 gal tank. I have had them in for about 4 weeks now so far they work great, as Wamp stated suction cups are bad.

I just setup a QT tank and installed the zoo med powersweep. It works, but it is NOISY as heck. Makes to many air bubbles. I will switch it out eventually.

I agree - I usually buy top of the line equipment. And when I don't becuase I want to try something, I regret not trusting and listening to my gut instinct.
No doubt, cheap equipment is a waste of time in the Saltwater aquairum world.

They work----only for a cetain amount of time though. I usually find myself cleaning it about once a month. Coraline Algae starts to build up around the head it usually stops it rotating unless cleaned consistenly. They are a pain in the arse
Darend, do you have the airline conected to it? Other than that you should have no reason for bubbles coming from it.

Yup, the airline connect is on it. Too noisy for me.
I find that only the top quality products work best for fish. Hate cheap stuff.
I wish there was a website for customer review of pet or fish products only.
I love this forum, I have learned alot out here and everyone seems very nice and knowledgable.
Have a great day.
