well he wasnt 17 in the video, he was younger then.
he just reminded me a little bit of michael jackson when he was younger so i thought it was interesting

Not impressed. Lots of boys sound like that before puberty. Lets see what he sounds like when he's in his 20's.

that's Jared Leto from "Requiem for a Dream", "Fight Club", and "My So Called Life". I knew he was singer in an emo band now, but I had never heard them until now.

I was confused but I had an epiphany.
This is easily explained. Although I didn't think it was still practiced.
Google what they did to little choir boys in the catholic church so their voice didn't change...
