At one of the LFS here in madison one employee lost a finger to a 14 inch blue snake head.
Why you would put your hand in with a fish that will eat monkeys at full size is some thing I am still trying to find out.....
Acualy he was showing customers how fast the fish was at following his hand with a feeding response. Trouble is a snake head is a VERY fast fish and when a fish is too large for it to eat they will just bite it in half with one good chomp.

After my ray died in the winter, I froze him (for a proper burial:))...and when I took him out of the freezer I stuck myself with his stinger. It bled a little, but all it took was a bandaid. Does that count.

I got stung by my lion a few weeks ago. He got me with three spines, and it hurt like hell. I got on SWF.com immediately and read that I should put my hand under the hottest water I could stand for as long as I could stand it.
Long story short.....the pain was completely gone in 20 minutes. The heat apprently breaks down the toxin.
Thanks SWF.com!!!!!!!!!
