Hey Guys...check the FAQ at the beginning of the Disease & Treatment forum. It goes pretty in depth explaining the life cycles of Ich. It doesn't mean that the Ich is gone just because the spots have disappeared...the ich has just transitioned into another stage...and it'll be back.
Ich relies on fish as hosts. Removing the fish and placing in a qt is definitely your best approach (I didn't have that option). That way you can treat the fish with hypo...thus knocking the ick out. Keep your display tank running as usual with your inverts. The ich can not host on them...so after a few weeks it'll die off.
