If your current is that strong I would turn it down a bit until the anem gets footed. Its stress level may partially be caused by too strong of a current.
Also a BTA whos tenticles bubble is no indication that it is healthy or not. Some do some dont and no real reason as to why. Mine never did and rarely does, but occasionally it will. There are theory's that say a BTA will bubble its tips when it is trying to be defensive. I actually think there is some truth to that statment because when certain things out of the ordinary happen, my BTA bubbles.
