I wouldnt get the Olympus..not much of a system there. Plus those 2 lens come with it are pretty low quality.
I will be selling the 30D when i am ready to buy the 40D..I havnt made up my mind till I see the reviews and what others say about its AF in real situations.
I will be selling the 30D body for about $900 thats when i am ready to upgrade

i wanted the rebel but since i do a lot of wear and tear on my cameras and electronics in general i wanted something with a metal body. also i can pick up a E-500 body for about 300 if i look hard enough... so even with all those factors considered would you still go for the rebel or some other camera? now that i think about it, your right i should go buy some good lenses instead of the stock lenses... im on a limited budget here fyi

the XTi or XT is stronger then you think..I had one before. I would def go for that over that E-* camera
Or you could get a used 20D for around $600 or less and they are made of magnesium alloy and very strong and durable

2 more questions... if i wanted to find a used camera for a good price where would i look besides craigslist and egay and how are the nikon d40 and d80
