Not totally but there is a lot of all of that going on from city, state to government that kills progress for the citizens. Money gets squandered, justice hardly gets served to the right people and everyone takes advantage of loop holes. There's a huge rift that's dividing this nation in a time where a whole lot of people wouldn't mind taking up arms against us. And some want to limit our access to guns but it takes a whole army of officials to bring down a 19 year old kid. I haven't met a rich man yet that didn't get there by swallowing up some little guys by taking advantage of what they could. That is true.

What they didn't mention in the video (at least any part I saw) Is that martial law had been declared and in that case they had the right to disarm the citizens. They had the flood as an excuse and it was in an isolated area. I don't see them being able to sell that one on a nationwide basis.

There are many ways of taking advantage of the system or people which don't necessarily have to involve gestapo like business tactics. I'm not saying that everyone I met that has money is bad. Many people do things we ought not think they would. But fortunes come from somewhere.

This aspect I kinda did see coming. Not sure on the legality of it due to trade agreements and such, but I knew this would be attempted. So while everyone was in a panic over 5.56 and 9mm ammo I was buying military russian surplus mosin and ak rounds....stocked pretty good. This type of action might boost us ammunition sales even more so. there will be a demand for these rounds. Us companies will fill the gap. sure it will be a tad more expensive but the quality con trol and jobs created might be a good thing...

But remember, the mid term elections are coming up...so I don't expect anything serious from the executive orders......

obama is butt hurt because he didn't get a background check expansion aka step one to registration passed. You know he's gonna pull something sleazy. Banning foreign ammo will backfire because it will be seen as an attack on all gun owners. Let's see him try to sell that as a method of solving gun crime. Last I looked Obo's bros in Chicago didn't care where their bullets came from.

Aye...it might not be a bad thing for American manufacturers. Though it is still a big shift for the market to adapt to and for that reason I wouldn't count on lower costs or accessibility to be in abundance anytime soon. I am, however, proud to say that I don't have to consider what you just did to be a felony as of yet. So you're still one of the good guys, even if only for a little while longer. :)

I think the dude is pretty serious. Dems are pushing the gun control stuff as something that the majority of citizens want. Whether it's true or not. I think a lot of folks were ready for something just because no one wanted to be the jerk who didn't want to make america a safer place for all. Executive order makes it look like it's all him and he's a lame duck anyways.

Dems also pushed a gun control agenda during the clinton years. They got their assault weapkns ban and a few other things. Clinton signed it. Pushed for it. Demanded it. And it cost the house and senate the democrat majority. There are a lot of dems (my father in law comes to mind) that will vote a guy out for passing gun control. My father in law is a democrat but mess with his guns and he will vote you out.
