Two of my three peppermint shrimp seem to be carrying something extra in their bellies. Since they are mostly transparent, I can see these little white balls inside of them. Are these eggs? Will they keep them in their bellies to incubate or whatever for a bit, or are they going to lay them somewhere? If so, I think I might take them out of the tank to place them in a QT so that my fish won't eat them. And if they do 'hatch' or whatever, how long should I wait until they go back in the tank?
Anyone know what I've got on my hands here, and what I should do about it?
