Experienced with Eibli Angelfish?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this fish. I'm doing a research on what fish I want to put in place of my sebae clown.
Thanks,

Eibli angel was my very first fish. Sadly tho he passed on due to a severe case of ich but while I had him he was a very mild mannered fish. He ate readily when I fed him and he got along great with all the tank critters. From my own experience, Eibli's are pretty decent fish......active, colorful and docile. I am sure there will be differences in all species of fish but the one I had was nice to have.

Jeez....my experince is almost identical to Marine Fanatic! Not my first fish, but after the tank was 6 months old was when I got mine. And mine came down with ich, and after several attempts to clear him up, I ended up destroying him. No other fish had ich before, during or after him.
I later learned that my running carbon in the filter might have been stripping his slime coat, so if you do decide to get one, leave the carbon out!
And yes, a very nice peaceful fish. The only drawback (personality wise) was that he would pick at my christmas tree worms.

Fishymissy,
I never had a christmas tree worm but knowing the little buggers I don't doubt that yours did. I know mine used to LOVE chasing through the LR with anything that moved. Sheesh, now I want to go get another one. hehe

Eibl angel is a wonderful fish. Love that beautiful colourful eyes it has...and the swimming style....he will just wander all day long around in your tank/rocks. Very peaceful fish. Cool...
Mine would readily eat different types of food: flakes, pellets, brine shrimps, mysis.
Lost him though after six month :(

Wow not a very good rating for fish, eh? Nipping Christmas Tree Worm? I have two feather dusters so that might be a problem. I was so in love with that fish, it's just beautiful. Oh well, thanks for the response guys.

The angel never bothered the larger feather dusters, just the Christmas tree worms. I don't know why. (Bite size?) I ended up putting a clear divider around the worms so he couldn't get at them. It didn't matter so much because he died shortly after. If I had a tank where I could fit one in, I would get another! Very nice markings, very graceful movements.
Have to agree though that a 10g really isn't big enough for one.
