Experiences with Green Chromis....

Please let me know what, if any, sucess you've had in keeping Green Chromis. I once read that they are like the cockaroach (sp?)of salt water fish but I'm beginning to have my doubts...
Of all the ones I've had, I always start out with 4 or 5 and loose them little by little. It seems like some sort of fungus starts to attack them. The last one I had die on me appeared to have raw flesh on his side. Bacteria infection???? If so, are these type of fish more prone to get this than others???

I have had my two for around two years no problems. I dont think they are as hardy as the more agressive damsels like 3 striped or blue.

I agree with the last reply. Kept as a group they swim and play together, are hardy and don't bother the other tank members.

I've tried Hobbyland, Pagoda Pet Shop, Scott's Pet Shop, I even went to Old Town Aquarium in Chicago. Hobbyland doesn't look like much but I've actually had good luck wiht them. How about you??
