i personally like the aqua c remora. its a bit expensive, but i do think it is worth the price. its going for 159.99 the last time i check. it is pretty quit too. you might wnat to look into aqua c remora also. hope this helps.

I have a seaclone that has a leak problem. I think the plumbing design is poor...Brian

Rook - Yeah that is the Seaclone Prizm Skimmer. I like it so far. It removes LOTS of gross looking and smelling stuff. It's not loud in my opinion. It is very easy to clean too. No problems with it yet!
bas12547 - I had a leak too when I first started the skimmer. I had an O-Ring that was twisted from the factory. Check all of your O-Rings, if you find one twisted, do the following:
1. Remove it from the part.
2. Place it in a small cup of water.
3. Place that cup, with the o-ring in it, into a microwave for 20 seconds.
4. Take the cup out and let it cool for a while.
5. Inspect the o-ring. If it looks fine, place it in the freezer for a few minutes to harden the rubber.
6. Place it back on the part and install it in the skimmer.
This is exactly what I had to do to mine. I have not had 1 single leak since.
