Extra collection cup for skimmer

Does anyone know an easy way to safely add an extra collection cup onto a protein skimmer? Mine fills up with gunk so fast because it's so small.

Im sure you can add one youd need some sort of fitting that you could adhere to your skimmer cup

im not sure where to find the fitting but you can drill a hole at the bottom of the cup so the skimmate can flow out

Drill the hole a little smaller than a piece of poly tube you want to use. Use a pretty good size loy tube. Bigger than 1/4 anyways. Then jam it in the hole so its a tight fit. Superglue around the outside.
Run the poly tube to a milk jug or something.
Hey sign guy, my dog likes to chase chickens.
Thought you might want to know that!

If it is filling up that fast you are probably getting a very wet skim and might need to adjust the airflow or IN the "CPR" case adjust the height on which the collection cup sits in the receptacle.

don't mean to attack your post but this situation is the total opposite of mine. I have a hang on Aqua C skimmer and my collection cup barley ever fills have my tank for 6 months and the gallon of milk isnt even half full. Does that mean its doing a shiteee job or is it because i dont have enough gunk to be skimmed

Are you seeing sufficient bubbling going to the overflow? I defiantely sounds like insufficient waste..even the most well maintined tanks always get substancial skimmate.

Are the bubbles very very fine? the size of the bubbles is a very nig factor on the amount of skimmate as well..

Yes they should be chapagne size bubbles or smaller to produce proper skimate froth.. are they fine enough you think?
