angler. not really aggressive but will eat anything that will fit in its mouth. need to research their care needs. maybe a mantis species tank will satisfy your fetish to see things attacked and eaten

FW might be a better answer if you want to watch a fish eat other fish, for that size. Maybe a convict ciclid they are MEAN little boogers. And really pretty.

how bout a dwart lionfish...tank might still be to small tho..damsel are pretty nasty...
Tank is about 15-25 gallons too small. I would recommend the angler, but they can get a little pricey. The rhinopias (sp?) pictured above sells for a lot more than an angler too. You might wanna try freshwater

Pretty much stop, take a couple steps back, and evaluate why some saltwater fish are extremely aggressive and carnivorous. Because they often have extremely high metabolisms and are extremely active (think lunare wrasse here), or cover great distances of ocean (think sharks) or some fish are both (think marlin/sailfish).
Either way, fish can not eat and eat, without transferring food into energy, without using it up. Fish like anglers and toadfish, simply don't eat very often, when they do.
