face rot

Tonight I just rescued an elbi angel that had obviously been living in poor water conditions for some time. The main damage to the fish was face rot (to an advanced degree). I am going to put the fish on a high variety diet, is there anything else I can do to aid in the restoration of this poor guy?

Thanks for your replies. I already had the fish quarentined when I posted and was soaking it's food with zoecon. However, he died a few hours after I posted. Apparently there was more wrong with him than I was aware of. { I work at an aquarium supply store, and some people that were breaking down a 120 brought him in. The angel was the worst out of there five fish, so he was the one I took home}. It is unfortunate he wasn't properly cared for.
