all hawkfish are known as shrimp eaters however falco's hawks are generaly regarded as the safest with shrimp. If you look at them closely you will notice that they have small mouths and thus they can really only eat small shrimp like sexy shrimp or small pepermints. They will normally only eat shrimp they can swallow whole. They should be safe with larger shimp species like large blood shrimp, scarlet cleaner shrimp, and coral banded shrimp.
