i almost NEVER watch this show, maybe 3 or 4 episodes through the years. i decided to watch it last night cause the star wars theme. was so friggin stupid i turned it off after about 20 mins.

OHHHH NOOO.... I havent seen it yet but that has to be one of my favorite shows on TV. While I admit they have a couple of bombers in the past, on a whole IMO that show is hysterical. I havent seen the new one yet, now I am anxious to see just how bad it was.

nah, i agree--there's nothing good about the show. it definitely is a sophomoric show aimed towards adults. i'd never let a kid watch it. i also don't find jaime kennedy funny, or such movies as ... um... that one where they pooped in a toilet, nor do i ever want to watch borat... i just don't have the time for that stupid stuff.

I didn't see the season opener, but I know when Brian and Stewie are the stars of the episode, I like it, when that Stupid obnoxious Peter is the focus, I won't waste my time watching it.
So, who was the focus of the season opener?

I really like slapstick random humor and love the show. I recorded it so I can watch it tonight. I agree Tizzo that the shows with Brian and Stewie are much better.

i love dark humor , ive only watched family guy a few times and thuoght it was very funny . im more of a simpsons fan myself

I really like the show, especially all of the tangents and parodies. I guess you have to be a young adult/ teenager to really enjoy it, same thing with Borat etc.

Family Guy is hilarious!!
Either you like it or you don't, I guess. It really is geared toward a certain age-group because many of the parodies are of the 80's and early 90's.

Save for Quagmire, and the mayor Adam West, the show is very unoriginal and stupid. I like Simpsons and Futurama much more because they write their own jokes rather than plagiarise. Read into it there has been a decently long pissing match between Simpsons' writers and Family Guy due to the number of "similar" jokes in Family guy.... my .02
