i have a 75 gallon reef tank im setting up with a ice cap 440 watt v.h.o.s and a ice cap thermo sensor fan but i dont have enough room to mount it on the inside end of canopy to blow the air across the length of the bulbs. Can i mount it in the back of the canopy in the center or what do you recommend? i have one fan mounted on the open backside blowing cold air in and one mounted on the other end of the backside sucking hot air out. it cools extremely well. but it increased the evap rate significantly.

I mounted mine on the back, but there wasn't much air flow from it because of the location. Unless you can do what Hi'N'Dri did, you may have to abandon it for a small plastic fan blowing down through the top of the canopy.
