Fans, Acryllic, and Temp Issues

OK, I just got a new Acryllic 60 tank and I'm having temperature problems. My tank is hanging at around 80 degrees in my 75 degree room. I have no heater going, no lights, and only 4 powerheads- 2 MaxiJet 1200, 2 Rio 800...
I know a partial solution is using fans in the canopy, but since I have an acryllic tank, it has a non-removable acrylic top with all the cutouts... With my light in place (it's a 36" flourescent) there are almost no areas where the fan can blow on the water surface, which is what they're supposed to do right? Or do I just mount the fans sucking the air out of the canopy, and just let it chill?
Thank you all-
Any ideas?

A tank at 80 is fine.
Without having a place for the air to flow you'll be limited on your optons. Do you have a sump setup? If so, put a fan there.
Other than that, no clue...

Hopefully you will get a good answer soon. I believe that fans are used in the light hood to draw heat from the lights and light ballasts away from the aquarium. Not to blow across the surface of the water, but blow air across heat source and out of hood or pull ambient air across heat source and blow out of hood and into room. (push air across or pull air across heat to direct it) This is very common in cooling mechanical equipment.
Good Luck

I would mount at least one fan, in the canopy, blowing in. I personally experimented with my fans, and found out that forcing the air in, verses any other configuration, lowered the tank temperature 2* more.
By the way, 80* is cool. My temp gets up to 84*, with the house thermostat sitting on 72*. I never drop below 80*, so you are fine so far. Just don't go adding lights, without moving some air.
