It takes a few months before you see any. I have been using purple up for about a month now and just started seeing the tiniest bit of development. good product ive been told.
Arga milk is what I use. It works really well but i am actually going to switch to purple up once I run out of this bottle or arga milk. doesnt purple up also have iodine in it? so if i switch to purple up, will I not have to add more for my shrimp?
i have had my tank for about a good two months and i have an abundance of purple and dark reds.. does it grow fast under circumstances ? Its my first tank and i've done plenty of reading but i don't know much about coraline.
if you take a razor and scratch some coraline, spores will be released and will start to grow in different places, thats what i did and in about a week or two i saw small dots of coraline on my overflows
I use Kent Coral-Vite. My tank glass is covered in P Coraline.
After it starts growing, scraping it off the tank does help it spread.
I remember getting excited when I saw that first tiny pink spot on the glass, now... 10 months later, I am scraping and siphoning it out of the tank. Too much of a good thing
ive been using coral vital for like 3 weeks and except for my maroon velvet algea stuff (peysonnelia sp.) i havent seen much more coraline growth... how long did it take you to see a noticable difference?
