Favorite kind of bacon

I never thought this would be an issue, but I LOVE peppered bacon, however my wife LOVES brown sugar/Maple bacon.
Are you a sweet bacon or spicy bacon or just plain?

I like all of my food hot and spicey.. not much of a sweets person. I have about 8 different kinds of hot sauce in my frig to go with all the types of food.

Being a northerner, I love the thick cut maple bacon.
After living in the south for a few years I discovered Chicharrón. It looks a little gross but is very good. Kindof like a monster piece of bacon with extra fat.

Gotta have the sweet bacon to go with the pancakes with lots of butter and syrup...mmmm now I am hungry. I should have had breakfast for dinner...

the kind thats cooked, or between two slices of bread, or on a pancake/waffle/englishmuffin/biscuit, or wrapped around a steak, wrapped around a jalepeno, smothered in syrup, peppered, plain, heck even the crowavable kind... but it has to be cooked...

I think if nanoreefer ever finishes that collage, it should be bordered in bacon, lol! This sight tanks about it just about as much as fish and corals! LOL!
I never had any but the plain, I guess now I hafta try the rest...

arent we taught that "all bacon is created equal, regardless of origin, flavoring, creed, etc" ?
i find peppery bacon best on steaks, meatloves, eggs, etc.
i find maple bacons best with waffles, pancakes, etc.
i find plain bacon best for dipping in mayo.

Look, its all bacon. Bacon is like (word the filters will edit out). When it's good it's great and when it's bad it's still pretty good.
My favorite bacon is anything cooked over a campfire. Oh the smell.
