I use the Coralife 20" 96w quad 50/50....I paid like $175 two years ago but i see them more like 90-$100 now. It kept a condi anename happy back then till the tank crashed. I also recall it gave my 3 stripped Damsel good color.

I would agree about the coralife lights, another good brand is the Current-USA satellites and dual satellites with Sunpaqs. All good lights

Good start. Has anyone heard of Iridius lights? I've been using them for a couple of years, but have been wondering if it woud be worth it to go with a more well known name brand. The Iridius lights are about half the cost of name brand.

I have a Current that is fairly unusual. It has two built-in fans, a moon light and 4 X 65 watt PC. I tried it over my 29 and it was just too much LOL. It's only 30" long LOL

You can't find the lights through their web site. I actually purchase the lights through Custom Aquatic's web site.

I go for the coralife's as well, straight pin setup with 10ks, or recently switched to Odessya straight pin setup but 12ks (all 21" and 55w) ....
The 10ks are more blue spectrum, and the 12ks give off a more white/yellow hue....I like personally the more blue look....

I mounted them in my canopy retro style, with my "current" moon lights .....and a strip light with an extra actnic in the back.....

I have the orbit 4x65w with led. i think it is a well built fixture and the fans are rugged and the moonlights are great. all in all i think it is a well made light.

I like the current usa's styling and bulbs over coralife. The legs could be a little more robust but at least they come with the fixtures.
