I think it is good to have alot of different view points represtened that is why i chose to post this not to get anyone angry or to start an argument.
Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, "We believe", and that they will not be tested?

I like it because it shows that you cant take faith blindly.

I haven't ever read the Qu'ran (I plan to read it and the Bible someday) but I really like that quote. It goes in opposition to how I view most of religion and gives me a bit of relief.

i havnt read the whole thing but only parts and i read a few commentaries
i am also in a Bible study group which helps me understand all religions
i think a well rounded study of world religion realy helps people become less ignorant and prejeduce.

I've never read the Qu'ran, thought about it to see what is different from this book and the Bible. I am aware of the difference in beliefs, but what is it about Mohammad that makes him the "greatest prophet" in the Islam religion? This post is only to generate informative discussion!!! and not a debate on what right or wrong about Jewish, Christian, Islam religions

please dont get this post closed down and i didnt want to offend the person who poseted the Favortie Bible Verse
Mohammad considered the Christian and Jewish world currupted by material goods and worship of idols
The Qu'ran also mentions that Jesus, Abrhama and Issac and some more are all prophets just not the last or ones closest to God.

Its a shame that there is so much conflict b/w the major religions of the world. I'm a Christian and believe that Jesus is the savior and is God, but it has also always been my opinion that Judism, Islam, and Christianity all worship the same God. We all believe in one God and our beliefs all start with Abraham and his God. What's different is that Jewish people believe the Messiah has not come yet, but I'm not sure if Muslims believe that a Messiah is coming, however; I know that they believe in the prophets of the Old Testament, and that Jesus was only a prophet (and not the greatest). Do Muslims believe that Mohammed was the last and greatest prophet or that there will be one greater than he?

Doesn't offend me at all!!! I think everyone should read the Qu'ran. I've read some of it....interesting religion. I used to be into world religons and one of my sisters friends was Islamic and she gave me all this info on her religion. When I mean all I mean I had a gallon bag full of stuff!!! hahaha.
