feather duster and pep. shrimp

:notsure: Just put a feather duster into my tank and my peppermint shrimp won't leave it alone. He seems to be picking at it or trying to clean it? Is this a normal behavior? The duster just keeps pulling its crown in and I keep shoeing the shrimp away - 'course that won't last long! Should I be worried? Any suggestions??

put a little piece of shrimp on a stick and give it to them to take their attention away.

Sounds to me you have a good cleaner on your hands. He is getting all the unwanted stuff off of the featherduster parasites and such. Once there all gone "or he is satisfied" he will stop. As long as he isnt chewing any holes in the side it will be fine.

I wouldnt worrie about it to mutch until I see it actually pulling the tube apart "makeing holes" as long as it isnt doing that then it is just cleaning it.
