My tank is becoming over run with little mini feather dusters. They're beginning to take over the tank they are EVERYWHERE even in my protein skimmer. I'm wondering if they're harmful and if thet are how to get rid of them. They have white tubes and are about 1/2 to 1 inches. Please help me.

Not harmful at all, I have hundreds of them. It's a good way to tell your tank is doing well.

It is a sign that your tank is being over feed if it is a older tank. If you are just cycling it is normal. As your tank gets more established they will start to die off. The reef setting is almost like a starved place for food and such because of all the live rock and corals acting like a filter. That is why the coral and reef fish are so much harder to take care of because of the perfect conditions of a reef. Good Luck!!!
