feather duster cluster

I just received a feather duster cluster from this site. I thought it was going to come on a piece of live rock. However, it came with just a bunch of feather dusters clumped together. What they're held together with I don't know. Right now I placed them on the sand. Is this ok. Do I need to place them on a rock or something?

Yes place them near some rocks. They will twist and move toward stheir final spot. IT takes a couple weeks but eventually they will "hard" attatch themselves to either your sand or the nearest rock. Just don't freak them out or they will jump their tube and may end up dying if they can't find a home.....
