Feather Duster Crown Fell Off

Mt feather dusters crown fell off, and i heard that it can regrow. How long should I wait before pulling it out. It is hard to tell when those are dead

wait a week, or unless you see hermits/clean up crew eating it.
they stink like a dead snail if dead, so can try that way too.

do not move them or throw them away.
my feather dusters, i have two of them, threw there crowns.... i thought they where goners... but to make sure i left them in there...
3 weeks later i saw ones lil tiny crown come out.. was so tiny.. then the other ones tiny crown came out... its been almost a week and a half since and the crowns are much much bigger and still growing.
summer hit and my tank got too hot one day at the beginning of summer and i guess it stressed them out.... and they threw there crowns.

Feel the tube. If it has a firm feel to it then the worm is still in there and alive.

Definitely give it some time. I've seen them come back with new crowns after more than a month of looking like they were dead.
