I bought a clean up crew from SWF and got it yesterday morning. I put all the animals in yesterday afternoon around 12. The crab (the ones that made the shippment while still in shlls)are moving all overeat all the brown alge which is great, but my feather dusters, all three, are in a bunch with there heads pressed up against one of my LR's. They moved there almost imdeitally and have not moved. I have two questions about them first is this OK or should I move/seperate them? and second does they molt like the shimp? I ask this becuase one came out of it "sleve" (for lack of better word) and the other two are still in but there "sleves" are facing the way I think thier front should face. Also one comes out of it's sleve often, under the rock and the other two stay in. Any help oncaring for them is welcome I have not been able to find much on them. here is my water conditions as for 4:00pm EST
amm - 0
nittire - 0
ph - 7.9 (raising slowly buy adding half doses of porper PH8.2)
salt 1.024 ( need to drop with water change tommorow)
tmp - 77
thanksin advance for any help. sorry for the long post.

water is okay just remember that dusters will leave their tubes to establish in another location. they dont molt like shrimps. they dont need to be grouped together you can move them around. sometimes crabs will eat dusters so just keep an eye on them

I should have read before posting my appoligies to all. but with reading i still have one last, more informed question, if a feather dust comes out of it's sleve (like 1 did in shipping) what if any thing can I do? I still have the tube but it floats at the top of the tank.

Not sure about the feather duster question, but I don't think you need to raise your SG. Just my .02.

it will create a new sleeve. it creates a soft sleeve which then becomes hard over time you can ditch the old tube

When I got my feather dusters, they wouldn't stay put either. I went to my lfs and bought very small pieces of live rock to place on the bottoms to hold them down. Make sure the pieces of rock are not heavy enough to crush them! You need something small and lightweight. I haven't had any problems since :)
