Feather Duster hiding

I have had a feather duster in my tank for about a month now, I haven't seen him come out in a couple days, is it common for them to close up for a while? I have noticed him losing a few feathers but didn't think it was anything to worry about, any thoughts?

I have three in my tank and they pretty much only come out at night. After my marron clown goes to sleep, because the clown will try to put out the feathers. Right now I am going a new tank ready for the clown but intill then the duster will only be coming out at night. So I think you should check it at night. Someone might be bugging it during the day.

Funny you should mention the Clownfish, I just put one in my tank, that must be it, thanks. I was hoping he would host with my Hammer coral.
