Feather duster leaking purple bubbles?

I didn't see it, but my wife said it was leaking out a stream of purple"bubbles" She said it looked like a octopus inking.
I fed them last night.
Any ideas?

Hey sorry I dont have the answer but am curious. Mine is letting off a white fog Like it is smoking! Very strange has your done that before??

No, haven't seen smoking, but I've only had them a few days.
